Jennie: All I want is Corrie and a cuppa

CORRIE star Jennie Mcalpine is favourite to win I’m a Celeb – but insists all she wants afterwards is a cup of tea and to go back to her job. Jennie, 33, who plays Fiz Brown, says she cannot see her life changing at all when she returns to Manchester. She said: “I’m treating it as a holiday.”

Jennie, right, said she cried as she said goodbye to her little boy Albert, telling him she was “going to work”.

But she took one of his teddies with her and he will be brought out to Oz for his third birthday and “an amazing adventure”. Jennie also told of her pain at losing her mental health campaigner dad Tom this year. She went to live with Tom after he divorced her mum Linda, who died in 2004.
