Wills steps in to help stop cyberbullies
Prince joins drive PRINCE William is determined to stamp out cyberbullying – inspired by one mum’s heartbreaking tale.
Lucy Alexander’s son Felix, 17, took his own life after years of being tormented on social media.
In an emotional meeting this week Lucy, from Worcester, told Wills how bullying “ate her son alive”.
The Prince has teamed up with tech firms, children’s charities and parents to launch a code of conduct. He said: “Online, it’s so personal. It goes straight to your room.”
Carolyn Bunting, CEO of Internet Matters, said: “The Stop, Speak and Support campaign gives children a brilliant, positive focus and helps them to tackle cyberbullying.”
