Brendan makes his Merc in series finale
Brendan Gleeson has been in the driving seat for the entire series of the brilliant Mr Mercedes that concludes this week. The Irish star was the perfect casting to play the tormented retired cop tasked with chasing down a serial killer who taunts him over an unsolved massacre. Not surprisingly Gleeson, who is doing the rounds to promote Paddington 2, said working on Mr Mercedes was “a little bit more of an ask” than some roles. The finale brings more edge-of-your-seat tension as Gleeson’s character Hodges fears for his loved-ones after another murder victim is found.
