‘Roos can be tamed’

- BY GARETH WALKER in Melbourne

TOPPLING formidable Australia is possible according to former Wigan and St Helens coach Ian Millward.

The Kangaroos continued their march to the World Cup final by brushing Samoa aside 46-0. They have conceded only two tries in four matches — and haven’t allowed any opposition to cross in the second half for nine World Cup games.

Millward (above) said: “They can be beaten but only if teams maintain their intensity for 80 minutes.”
