GARETH SOUTHGATE’S preparations for England’s recent friendlies were hit by several withdrawals of key personnel.

But all of the withdrawals were available for their clubs yesterday.

Harry Kane played 75 minutes of the North London derby, but looked off the pace. Dele Alli was also subbed with 15 minutes remaining while Harry Winks came off the Spurs bench.

Danny Drinkwater played the last 20 minutes as Chelsea won 4-0 at West Brom. Raheem Sterling lasted 84 minutes of City’s win at Leicester and Sterling’s team-mate Fabian Delph played the full match as did Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson (right).
