Beatles’ Sir Paul THE Beatles’ song Hey Jude triggers the most cherished musical memories, a poll reveals.
It beat Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody in a list inspired by Hope and Homes for Children, a charity that rehomes orphaned kids.
Beatles legend Sir Paul Mccartney, 75, also reveals his own boyhood favourite – Gene Vincent’s Be-bopa-lula from 1956.
He said: “I can’t imagine growing up without listening to music. To imagine not having music is terrifying, really.”
The End The Silence campaign, supported by Youtube, aims to raise €2million by Wednesday.
