Chloe kidnap suspect tells of appeal joy

A MAN suspected of kidnapping glamour model Chloe Ayling has spoken out after being told he can fight extradition to Italy.

Michael Herba, 36, insists he is innocent and said of an appeal hearing in the New Year: “This is the best ever Christmas present. I hope that the truth will finally come out.”

Herba was held when police raided his home in Sandwell, West Mids.

His brother Lukazs is already in Italy accused of kidnap and demanding a €300,000 ransom – threatening to sell 20-year-old Chloe as a sex slave.

She said she was drugged, locked in a case and held for six days.
