UB40 feeling too beat to end the tour

-

VETERAN reggae band UB40 cancelled the last date of their UK tour last night after singer Duncan Campbell lost his voice.

The group also blamed exhaustion for axing the concert at Southampton’s Guildhall, which had been sold out.

They said they hoped to visit the city next month, adding: “We are working on a date. We will inform people as soon as possible.”

Former lead singer Ali Campbell left UB40 in 2008 to go solo, and his brother Duncan replaced him.

Ali now tours with his own version of the band called UB40 featuring Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue.
