I own a lovely cottage ware teapot. It was made in England and is marked “Ye Olde Cottage”. Can you tell me a bit more? Mike Sanderson, Oxford These were made in the inter-war years as part nostalgia, part desire for colour during the depression years. Collectors will look for crazing, particular­ly on the base, and any chips. Price Kensington made the definitive cottage ware and your teapot is worth €30-€60.
