What’s making my basil look faulty?
My basil plant has black spots and the leaves are curling up. Is there anything I can do? – Alan, via email DAVID: That sounds like a fungal infection, and there’s not much you can do once a plant is infected. Fungicides are generally preventative rather than curative.
If some still looks okay, remove the infected leaves as soon as you see them and you will often get a lot of use out of the plant. Avoid overwatering and don’t leave the plant sitting in water.
