Louise back on song Strictly pal Kevin watches former Eternal star back on solo stage
LOUISE Redknapp’s smile seemed almost Eternal as she nervously took to a stage for her first solo gig in 15 years.
And watching from the wings on Friday night was her former Strictly Come Dancing partner Kevin Clifton.
The pair have been spending time together recently as they both deal with the collapse of their marriages. Kevin, 35, attended the gig at Under The Bridge in Fulham with Louise’s family and had choreographed the routines for the show.
Former Eternal star Louise, 43 – sporting a smart black suit and sheer top – was given a huge cheer at the packed venue as she sang her first solo single Light Of My Life. She told the audience: “I just wanted to say thank you. I was always scared singing this song.” Louise – who split from footie pundit husband Jamie, 44, earlier this year – also has a New Year’s Eve gig at London’s G-A-Y bar. She and Kevin – who reached the 2016 Strictly final – were spotted in a pub last Monday both still wearing wedding rings. Later in the week she spent time with her two sons at a London funfair Kevin’s estranged wife Karen, 35, has flown to the US to see her family. She is said to have called Jamie to warn him to “keep your wife away from my husband”. Karen is reported to have had dates with accountant Stuart Wood, 27, while her husband rehearsed with 2017 partner Susan Calman.
