May thrilled to be hosting NYE special
Imelda May IMELDA May has said she’s “excited” to be hosting tonight’s New Year’s Eve TV special.
The Dublin singer revealed it will feature “the best of Irish talent”.
The diverse line-up includes a host of Irish artists such as The Corrs, Finbar Furey, The Strypes, Gavin James, Beoga and Jerry Fish.
Speaking to RTE Entertainment, Imelda said: “It will be the best of Irish talent, probably not totally what you’d expect as well.
“With some well established artists, maybe an icon thrown in for good measure, and some up-and-coming artists who you probably won’t have heard of.”
The show is on RTE One tonight at 10.20pm. Miley Cyrus
