Meghan ‘too far away’ for father bond
Meghan MEGHAN Markle’s stepmum has claimed distance is the real reason the princess-to-be is estranged from her father.
Roslyn Markle was married to the actor’s dad Tom Sr in the 1960s before he wed her mother Doria.
The 74-year-old said: “The aunts, uncles and cousins were thousands of miles apart.
“So there wasn’t a lot of the Markle family presence all the time.”
Talk of a rift unfolded after Prince Harry told BBC Radio 4 listeners the royals were like the family his fiancee “never had”.
Roslyn added: “It’s not tension, it’s distance.
“It was the scenario that everyone got busy, and the distance was always a factor.” Kylie Jenner
