HECTOR HOPES 2018 IS OUT OF THIS WORLD

- BY CHRIS HATHERALL

HECTOR BELLERIN believes 2018 could be the biggest year of his career so far.

The Arsenal full-back, linked with a move to Barcelona, has stuck with the Gunners through thick and thin and believes now is the time to reap the rewards.

The 22-year-old Spanish international (right) said: “For me, 2018 is a very important year because it also comes with a World Cup.

“My dream is to avoid injuries, to win a trophy with Arsenal – any trophy – and then to go to Russia with Spain. This could be the most important year in my career. It’s very difficult because it’s a big fight between so many countries.

“But Brazil, Germany, Spain, Argentina and England have a chance to win the World Cup.”
