Fear City Tragedy strikes RTE soap after Oakley gun drama
Miriam and everyone else hostage and his actions result in one death.
In another surprise twist, a second character dies days later as a result of an injury sustained during the tense stand-off.
A show insider said: “Things really kick off on Fair City from this Sunday.
“You have the cult storyline gathering momentum and ending in a
Oakley, right, holds group hostage on Fair City siege scenario in the house which results in two deaths.
“It plays out over the course of a week and it’s gripping stuff.”
In tonight’s episode Oakley convinces Emmet to go along with his plan and gets him to trick Miriam into a one-on-one session.
During the meeting she is stunned by Oakley’s appearance and is terrified when he stops her leaving the room.
Emmet then dupes the group into locking down the O’brien house and a deranged Oakley produces a flare gun to stop them leaving.
Fair City airs on RTE One tonight at 8.30pm.
