Jason hopes to Trotter off to Hollywood
SIR David Jason has not given up on his Hollywood dream – despite being 77.
And if that fails, he said he hoped to land a part as big as that of Derek Trotter in the BBC comedy Only Fools and Horses.
He said: “One thinks maybe another Only Fools is still hiding out there.
“That and Hollywood, although they don’t seem to answer my calls.”
Jason told Reader’s Digest he liked his straight roles, such as cop Jack Frost, but that he was usually hired for comedy.
