ALL YESTERDAY’S RESULTS, TABLES SCORERS & STATS SEE PAGES 22 AND 23

- January 7, 2018 BY DARREN LEWIS

In an astonishing rant, the Chelsea boss – who takes his men to Old Trafford on February 25 – insisted he was ready to confront Mourinho, following his “match-fixing” jibe on Friday.

Speaking after his side’s goalless draw at Norwich, Conte said: “It will be the opportunity in the game against United when we go to Old Trafford.

“Me and him face-to-face. I’m ready. I don’t know if he’s ready. The truth is that I was banned for four months by the sporting justice, for failure to report. Then I asked a real trial by a court and then they declared my innocence.

“I think, before you make this type of comment to hurt another person, you must pay great attention. You show you are a little man. A little man.

“I consider him a little man, I consider him a man with a very low profile.”

In the latest round of the escalating war or words between the pair, Conte added: “There is a story to speak for him and for me. You can change the story. But you have to know the story very well before hurting another person.

“In the last period, he’s suffering a bit of amnesia.”
