Kerber’s rebound for success

FORMER World No.1 Angelique Kerber took another step on the recovery trail with a 6-4 6-4 win over Ashleigh Barty in the Sydney International final.

The German two-time grand slam champion is currently ranked only 22nd in the world ahead of this week’s Australian Open but yesterday’s victory was her ninth in as many matches.
