WHO IF NOT WENGER?

-

EVERYONE has been saying for a while that we are approaching the end of the Arsene Wenger era. He has achieved a lot at Arsenal, even though it’s constantly thrown at him that he hasn’t won the Premier League since 2004. But, for me, he’s still a very good manager. Some people may say he has outstayed his welcome, but who’s going to go in and do what he’s achieved in the past? Look at the problems Manchester United had in replacing Sir Alex Ferguson. I’ve been a big fan of Arsene (right) over the years, but everyone has a certain shelf life. Eventually he will go, obviously, but I think it’s a case of be careful what you wish for. It’s not going to be an easy task replacing him. I know something. A lot of hard work will have to go into finding the right successor. I don’t envy the people having to eventually make that decision. It’s not as easy as some people think.
