Airports eye media gongs

TWO airports have been shortlisted for international social media awards.

Ireland West and Dublin Airport are up for gongs at The Moodies, which recognise best practice in social and digital media among airports and airport shops.

Ireland West near Knock, Co Mayo, is up for best use of Facebook and Dublin is nominated for best Twitter feed and best use of Instagram.

The winners will be announced later this month.
