London girls made Margot tell of sexism
Margot Robbie MARGOT Robbie has told how her “open letter to Hollywood” condemning sexual harassment was inspired by a Whatsapp group with friends.
The I, Tonya actress, 27, gave her speech at an ELLE magazine event amid the Harvey Weinstein scandal in October.
Margot added: “I went on our girl group, my London girls, who are all crew members.
“My phone went f***ing nuts.
“I was surprised by how angry they were. I was overwhelmed by how much they felt they’d been bottling up.”
The letter included the lines: “When you take away Hollywood, we are all just women, all facing the inequalities that being a woman brings with it.” Alfie & Dad
