PM’S summit to thrash out Brexit stance
BRITISH prime minister Theresa May is to drag her warring ministers to Chequers to thrash out a position on Brexit.
The Conservative premier’s summit at the retreat this month aims to settle the UK’S negotiating position ahead of EU talks in March.
Her 11-strong Brexit committee failed to agree at talks last week.
Brexiteers Liam Fox and David Davis have been asked to make speeches about a common position, along with Remain supporter David Lidington.
But Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson may upset plans with his own speech on Wednesday.
