One of the most-loved PS2 games of all time has been given a dazzling upgrade for next-generation consoles.

For those new to Shadow of the Colossus, you play a hero called Wander and you’re tasked with resurrecting a girl called Mono.

The storyline isn’t the strongest, but it’s in the stunning visuals and energetic, puzzle-platformer gameplay that this game stands out.

To bring Mono back from the dead, you’re tasked with taking down 16 gigantic beasts, each of them having specific strengths and weaknesses – and looking incredible on a huge HD TV. You are armed with only a magical sword, a bow and your trusty horse Agro, who never seems to run out of energy.

To find one of the beasts, you can raise your sword so light bounces off it – and this beam of

APP light will also take you on different adventures on the way.
