Nolan: It’s a Dr No from me on Bond
Director Nolan CHRISTOPHER Nolan has shot down rumours he will be directing the next James Bond film.
Following news that Sam Mendes would not be returning, the Dark Knight director told Kirsty Young on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs: “I won’t be the man. No, categorically.”
But Christopher, 47 – whose war epic Dunkirk has earned him best director and best film nominations at tonight’s Baftas – did add: “I’ve always been inspired by the films and would love to do one some day. Sam has done a terrific job.”
He also spoke about working with the late David Bowie in The Prestige, saying it was “one of my proudest boasts”.
