Cheryl and Liam Payne have admitted to each other that they need to Fight For This Love.

A friend of the couple say they “need to spend more time together” if their romance is to survive.

Mum-of-one Cheryl, 34, is hoping to attend the BRIT Awards on Tuesday with Liam, 24, who is up for a gong.

Their pal tells me: “Liam has been focusing on his solo career and has been away a lot, while Cheryl has been at home looking after baby Bear.

“They have been spending a lot of time apart and they have admitted to each other that they need to focus on their relationship and have some quality time together.”

They will both be able to enjoy some pampering backstage with complimentary facials and manicures.

The BRIT Awards will be live on Wednesday, 8pm on ITV
