Princess Cruises’ first-ever round-trip sailing to Canada and New England from Britain is breaking records. The 24-day voyage from Southampton is the line’s best-seller of 2019 with bookings coming more quickly than any other Princess sailing in the past five years.
Sapphire Princess departs on September 14 next year, with ports of call for the the 2,670passenger ship including Boston, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and two days in New York City.
A spokesman said: ‘’Our Canada and New England sailing has really captured the imagination of both new and past guests alike.’’ Fares start at €2,823p. P&O Cruises and Cunard plan to axe single-use plastics from the hotel operation on their ships by the end of 2022. A spokesman for parent firm Carnival said ocean conservation was "critical".
