Las keen two push

-

PIERRE-MICHEL LASOGGA wants to do the ‘double’ over Bristol City to spark a push for the play-offs.

New Leeds head coach Paul Heckingbottom takes charge for the first time today as United look to bounce back from last week’s narrow defeat at Sheffield United.

And German striker Lasogga is hoping for a repeat of the 3-0 win at Ashton Gate in October as he eyes a bid to reach the top six.

“I feel good and I think the whole team feels good now,” said Lasogga.

“The games in the last month haven’t been good for us, with our last win coming against Burton Albion.

“There have been a lot of changes, with the new coaches and I thought last week at Sheffield United we played very well in the second half and didn’t deserve to lose.

“We have to start getting some victories now though, because just playing good is not enough.

“At Ashton Gate, it was not an easy game, but we started very well and scored after five minutes.

“To get into the play-offs we have to win the next games, Sunday is a very important game to close the gap.”
