25 soldiers & security die in Afghan strikes
A WAVE of strikes across Afghanistan has left more than 25 people dead, most of them soldiers.
Taliban militants stormed an army post in the western province of Farah yesterday, killing 22 military.
Then a suicide attack in the capital Kabul left at least three security officers dead.
The explosives were detonated in an area dotted with diplomatic buildings.
There has been a surge in militant attacks recently and the army is often targeted in what is seen as a response to an aggressive strategy announced by President Trump last year.
