Debate over Grenfell won by Stormzy
Stormzy at Brits GRIME star Stormzy has praised the public for sending a Grenfell Tower Inquiry petition to Parliament, tweeting: “Job done.”
Hours after he shared it, the demand for Theresa May to appoint a diverse panel to the public probe passed 100,000 signatures.
This is the milestone needed for MPS to consider the petition for debate.
It calls for a panel with “relevant background” to join Sir Martin Moore-bick, chair, amid doubts over the retired judge’s ability to relate to survivors.
Stormzy, who blasted the PM over Grenfell at the Brit Awards, said: “Beautiful people. Job done.”
