We must lower road death toll

A WOMAN has died in a road accident after a two-car collision in Co Laois.

And a man also suffered fatal injuries following a separate incident in Co Waterford.

It’s sad to think people are still losing their lives every day on Irish roads.

Despite millions being spent every year on safety campaigns, drivers are still getting involved in horrendous accidents.

A new approach must be made by safety watchdogs as the one which is currently being sent out is not effective enough.
