MY PERFECT SUNDAY

- By Carli Norris

I would be on a sun lounger in the Dominican Republic with my husband and two daughters.

I love living in Colchester, but Sundays are devoted to my clothing business Chocodolly right now.

Total relaxation would be perfect compared to designing, sorting out my taxes and paying bills.

We’d start the day with an all-you-can-eat buffet, followed by sunbathing and cocktails by the pool. We did an all-inclusive trip to Spain last year and my youngest daughter loved being able to eat whatever and whenever she wanted.

Now she keeps asking when we will go back.

After a day of sunshine and a bit of sightseeing, we would head to the disco. It turns out that my girls, who are nine and seven, are pretty good at karaoke – on our last holiday they sang in front of 500 people!

For now, all my time is taken up with the play I’m in. I have to wear restrictive Victorian clothes, so I’ll be ready for that Caribbean holiday by the time it finishes at the end of May.
