Diesel car ban in two years

THE German state minister has claimed diesel bans are unlikely to happen in the next two years.

According to Hendrik Wuest, by the time diesel bans were enforced, affected cities may have found other ways to reduce pollution.

He added: “There will be anti-pollution plans. Those can be challenged in court.

“By the time everything is decided it will be 2020.”

At this stage, levels of toxic nitrogen oxide in the air will be reduced.
