Broadchurch actress Sarah breaks leg in sledge accident
ACTRESS Sarah Parish was left with a shattered leg while trying to sledge in the snow.
The Broadchurch star, 49, had been playing with her daughter at her UK home when she had the horrific accident.
Sarah was using a blue plastic sledge to whizz down a slope in her garden when she tried to stand up on it – and badly injured herself.
She shared a snap of herself being wrapped in a foil blanket and given gas and air by paramedics as they strapped her to a spinal board and brought her to a local hospital. Sarah captioned a shot of her leg in a cast: “Day 2 in Winchester Hospital. Looks like I’ll be operated on today. “They’re putting a bloody great big pin right through my shin. No sleep last night. “Note to self: cheap plastic sledges are for sitting in and NOT a substitute for a snowboard.” Sarah Parish
