THEY call it the business end of the season... and this week sees several points high on the agenda.

First in the minutes today, Pep hopes to extend his spreadsheet of wins with another victory – and hasten Signor Conte’s exit to take over as boss of the Italy network.

Then, the various European bluechip hard-hitters come into play and none weightier than the extraordinary meeting to be held between PSG and Real Madrid.

Parisian stock fell sharply after Ronaldo brokered another home deal in Madrid and PSG boss Unai Emery will be desperately trying to shore up the heavy loss of Neymar, but he may have to dip into as yet untapped emergency reserves.

The following evening, chairman Daniel Levy will be presiding at Wembley as Poch tries to conduct a hostile takeover of Juventus to force the Tottenham deal over the line.

A Juve goal would not be a dealbreaker, if Spurs can invest in one, since they already have the back-up

equity of two aways. But it may be a different story on Thursday when impoverished Arsene Wenger, already on Skid Row is praying for a zero-sum game, though the Emirates bank is dangerously low on goals and reserves at present.

The former big cartels of the North-west then meet on Saturday, but if it’s anything like their previous pitch, don’t invest too much in it.
