Appeal after man is killed in road crash

GARDAI have appealed for witnesses after a man in his 20s died following a single-car collision.

Another male, also in his 20s, was seriously injured and brought by ambulance to University Hospital Kerry in the early hours of yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash which happened at 3.20am on the R558 Tralee to Fenit road.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed and diversions were put in place.

Gardai have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
