Norton bike from 1960

I have a 1960 Norton Dominator 99 Deluxe. It has a matching frame and engine number and is a rare example. Can you tell me the market value? Peter Saunders, via email The first motorbike was made by the Germans and was the Daimler and Maybach in 1885. The popular British marques to come and go have included Triumph, BSA, Royal Enfield and Norton. The Model 99 was added to the Norton line-up in 1956 and was more pokey than the existing 500cc Model 88 bike. The production of all 99s ceased in 1963. Bikes like yours were stripped to create the café racer look of the time and they are rare in their complete form and colour today. It could make €5,000 to €6,000 at auction.
