Slater in return of living dead

THINGS go from the sublime to the ridiculous on Albert Square with the return of Kat Slater. She makes a shock appearance as her family plans for her funeral – with requests ranging from a coffin with leopard print lining and a full body spray tan for the corpse. Mo Slater has already returned to Walford with a secret of her own. She claims Kat (last seen on spin-off Redwater) is dead. But the brash character shocks everyone after they supported a fundraiser for her burial. Lacey Turner, who plays Kat’s cousin Stacey, admitted the shake-up “sort of ruins Stacey’s life”. She added: “We’re quite useless working together because all we do is laugh.” Glad someone sees the funny side – cos I certainly don’t.
