Bellew’s quids in on no-show
TONY BELLEW has taken out an insurance policy – in case David Haye fails to show for their rematch.
The Liverpudlian is set to win either way if his opponent does not step into the ring in May after having a special clause inserted into their fight contract.
Bellew (above) will
sans light pocket “a significant six-figure sum” if, for any reason, his 37-year-old opponent doesn’t turn up.
Bellew pulled off a shock 11th round victory in their first face-off.
And the rematch was cancelled four months ago when Haye injured his arm after falling down stairs.
The bout has been rearranged for May 5.
