ANNE Hathaway has hit out at body shamers as she attempts to put on weight for an upcoming role.
The Les Miserables Oscar winner posted a video on Instagram and wrote: “I am gaining weight for a movie role and it is going well.
“To all the people who are going to fat shame me in the upcoming months, it’s not me, it’s you. Peace xx.”
She later added: “I wanted to set this to Queen’s ‘Fat Bottomed Girls’ but copyright said no. Continued peace xx.”
Hathaway, 35, did not say which film she is in training for but The Hollywood Reporter said the star’s upcoming schedule is reported to include sci-fi thriller O2. VICTIM Sharon Whelan was killed in 2008
