New man won’t talk to my kids

I’m 60, a widow, my kids have left home and I have a new man in my life. Things are great but he shows no interest in my children. When they come round, he leaves. He never talks to them or asks about them. It’s like he’d prefer they didn’t exist. I would like to think we could be a family – but he doesn’t want to know.
