Saved seals make splash
THREE seals found in distress and underweight made waves as they returned to the sea yesterday
The mammals named Tristan, Toothless and Gilgamesh hit the surf again having been cared for in Courtown, Wexford, since last year.
Seal Rescue Ireland invited local residents to witness the seals reunite with the ocean. The charity’s Melanie Croce said: “Most threats to seals, along with all marine wildlife are sadly due to humans.”
