6 teens hurt in car horror

A TEENAGER was fighting for life last night and five others were seriously hurt after being hit by a car.

The youngsters were walking along the pavement near a seafront when a white BMW ploughed into them.

All six were airlifted from Canvey Island, Essex, to hospital.

A local shop worker said: “It was horrendous – bodies were everywhere.”

Essex Police said: “One of them is in a life-threatening condition.”
