Virgin bride fears he’ll cheat with ex-lovers

-

You’ll only get more suspicious and stressed and could betray the trust between you, which is vital for your future together.

But neither would it be right for me to advise you to forget your concerns. Clearly you are worried. Give him some credit, though. Do you have reason to think he’d really be unfaithful?

It might be all in your mind, but left unchecked it could eat away at you and spiral out of control.

So the only answer for you is to talk about it with him.

Be open and honest and tell him how you feel – right up to and including the fact that you worry about why he keeps in touch with some of his former girlfriends. You will probably find those contacts are innocent and just friendly.

You could also discover that your husband is entirely satisfied with your love life together and wouldn’t dream of cheating on you.

Equally there could be issues that need to be faced and sorted out, I don’t know.

But the point is, you don’t know either – until you discuss it with your husband and find out.

Learning to be the sort of couple who can openly discuss such intimate matters is part of what is going to sustain you for the rest of your marriage.

I wanted to wait but now I think I’m so inexperienced he must find our love life too boring
