No points after 7 games ...but Hodgson steers Palace to safety
SOME Palace fans are shooting for the stars... they want Roy Hodgson named Manager of the Season.
That will not happen, but there is no doubt the Palace manager has pulled off the miracle of the season.
The south Londoners looked doomed after seven games. No points and no goals. But, slowly and surely, Hodgson (right) has worked his magic.
So much so that Palace have climbed to 11th.
On the dreaded drop, Hodgson said: “So many things would now have to happen. It’s not just Southampton, but some of the others. They can’t all win. I thought 36 points with a good goal difference is enough. Now we have 38.”
