Can’t always fly when you want, Mick
THE Rolling Stones have been banned from using helicopters because they are “too dangerous”.
Management have grounded Mick Jagger, 74, and the rest of the band, who must stick to the road on their upcoming tour.
A friend of the band said yesterday: “They don’t do helicopters. Management won’t allow it.”
The Stones, who kick off their No Filter tour of the UK and Europe this month, liked rocking up to gigs by chopper and are raging.
The wrinkly rockers are thought to be insured for €18million on tour.
But it has been claimed insurers will not pay out if anything that happens to Keith Richards, 74, is related to booze or from injuries he got falling out of a tree picking coconuts.
