Putin rival is held at rally
RUSSIAN opposition leader Alexei Navalny has been detained at a rally against President Vladimir Putin, it’s been claimed.
He had called on Kremlin critics to take to the streets of Moscow ahead of Mr Putin’s inauguration for a fourth term,
Navalny urged them to hit out his rival’s “autocratic Tsar-like rule”.
Opposition politician Leonid Volkov said: “Navalny appeared on Pushkinskaya (Square) and was quickly detained.”
