Fans to get a Peaky at new gang series
HIT series Peaky Blinders will have a sixth and possibly seventh series, according to its writer.
Stephen Knight is currently penning the fifth season of the period drama starring Dublin actor Cillian Murphy as crime boss Thomas Shelby.
The BBC drama, set in Birmingham, centres on the Peaky Blinders gang with Murphy at its head.
Knight told Birmingham Press: “We’ve talked to Cillian and he’s all for it, and the rest of the principal cast are in for it.”
He also revealed he had been approached by a dance company about a ballet version of the show.
Knight said: “I wasn’t supposed to say anything about it but I don’t mind talking about things.”
