Family keeps hero Keady’s memory alive

-

THE family of Galway GAA legend Tony Keady have paid poignant tribute to the hurler who sadly passed away last August.

His widow Margaret told host Ryan Tubridy on Friday’s Late Late Show how their world fell apart when he lost his life.

The 53-year-old, who suffered a heart attack, had started working on an autobiography with Liam Hayes before he died.

His wife and sons helped finish One Hundred and Ten Percent Legend by penning tributes.

Margaret said: “Some of them went into the book. It kept Tony alive because we have his book all over the house .”
