I own a Bossons wall plaque which depicts the famous rose grower Harry Wheatcroft. Please can you tell me more about it and what value it might have? Michael Lewis, Plymouth That’s a blooming marvellous plaque you have there – worth £150 to £200 in average condition but more if in better shape. Harry’s plaque was sculpted by Fred Wright in 1970. W. H. Bossons Ltd was founded in Congleton, Cheshire, in the late 1950s, and produced these mask-like plaques until the 1990s, when they closed. The handmade pieces, 6ins tall, are popular around the world and there is a big market in the US. Rare plaques like The Highwayman fetch several hundred pounds. Harry plaque
