Renting out driveways to park a profit
HOMEOWNERS are raking in thousands by letting motorists turn their driveways into car parks.
Londoners top the table, making an average €2,619 a year from renting out drives, garages or parking spaces. That jumps to a whopping €4,183 in posh Kensington and Chelsea.
Brighton was the second most expensive area, with residents earning €2,064.
Liverpool, where you can make €1,700 a year, and Reading, where the average is €1,684, completed the top 10 highest earning areas.
Wigan – where householders earn €721 a year – was 50th in the poll for Yourparkingspace.co.uk
